The Special EggStravaganza is a unique Easter egg hunt catering to children with special needs. Each of the four egg hunts offered will have dedicated areas accommodating specific special needs.
Children with sensory impairments such as autism, Aspergers, or ADHD will hunt for eggs in a quiet environment, free of distractions and loud noises.
Visually impaired children will hunt for eggs in an open environment with beepers inside each egg, allowing them to hear where they can be found.
Children with wheel chairs and mobile restrictions will have a dedicated area allowing them to hunt for their eggs using a magnetic pole.
Lastly, we will have a general hunt for friends and family. Be sure to come out and join us for this amazing community event. We can't wait to see you there!
In 2014, our first year ever for this event, nearly 500 people came together and served many very happy children with special needs. For many children this was their first time experiencing Easter egg hunting.
Check out these awesome moments from last year's events!

Help us better plan for this year's event by pre-registering your children. We are also gratefully accepting volunteer requests!
Complete this form to register up to ten children. If registering more than ten children, kindly submit the form again with the additional names and preferences.
Pre-registration helps us to prepare adequately for your child/children and, if registered before March 21, will reserve them a free t-shirt.
We are seeking over 150 volunteers throughout the Burlington and Tri-State area to assist with logistics and set-up for this memorable community event.
All volunteers are asked to attend a planning meeting where we will discuss the event and plan where everyone will be for the big day.
Take a look at the map to find your way to the event at Community Field or to the volunteer meeting at Journey Church.
